OffshoreTech LLC’s Chinese subsidiary OTC has been award a contract by GEDI to perform analysis and design of the substructures of offshore turbines. Beside actual engineering, OTL will also develop practical methodologies of performing strength and fatigue design of the substructure, with loads from the wind turbine and blades to be combined with sea states.
